These are my Dad's old 8 mm films.  They don't have sound... but the video transfer guy decided to add elevator music.  My advice, turn down your sound, and ENJOY!

Kinda Like Pee Wee's!
This house was moved to the vacant lot across from Vigue's store c. 1960 from ? (Westbrook Street?  Let me know, if you know).  My father was a firefighter and particpated in this controlled burn, testing out the new "fogger" that SPFD had just purchased.
This is my 4th birthday, October 1, 1957.  My dad was making the movie.  The film ran out.  The present was watercolor paints.
This was summer, probably 1958, neighborhood kids playing in the yard.  The one with the blue cropped pants is my sister Gail.  The girl on the porch behind me is Beverly Stein.  Butch with an attitude ;^)
My father was the Captain of Engine 6 Call Company in Thornton Heights.  Here he is on a drive-by for my mom!
Christmas 1957!
The old gentleman is my grandfather Conner born 1887 in Alma, New Brunswick, Canada.  Jack, Butch, and my cousin Wayne Conner from Preble Street, South Portland.
My brother Butch on Leave afterboot camp, ?1967.  Mom, Dad, and me. 
My father, ever the civil servant, thought there should be a traffic light at Crockett's Corner, and filmed cars running the stop sign for the City Council.
